This collection explores the interplay between remembrance and forgetting, where each stitch becomes a thread tying fragments of the past to the present. Through embroidery, I attempt to mend what is fading, using the act of stitching as both a method of preservation and a meditation on loss. The repetitive motion mirrors the way we try to hold onto memories—some remain vivid, while others unravel over time. By layering stitches onto the delicate surfaces of prints on fabric, I create a tactile record of remembrance, capturing the fragile yet persistent nature of what we seek to retain. This collection was the beginning of my deeper exploration of memory—how it shifts, fades, and resurfaces. Stitching became a way for me to physically engage with these ideas, allowing me to grasp something intangible, even if just for a moment.
