Arborscribe

Arborscribe is a collection of simple shapes, lines, and forms, a quiet tribute to the tree outside my window, capturing its presence through marks.

This collection explores the hidden narratives within nature, capturing fleeting moments of light, shadow, and resilience. Like etching, it reveals unseen depths, where trees embody contradictions, strength and fragility, growth and decay. Stretched paper and precise lines reflect the balance of opposing forces in both nature and life. Rooted in a lifelong connection to trees, this project invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover the quiet stories etched within the branches.
